I come in this morning and Pinnochio’s tail is sucked up in the filter (I set him free, I think he’ll be fine) and I find out that Amanda’s lost dog (Whom she discovered on her back porch today) is probably not going to make it. What a morning.

The last two weeks, my family has been gone. The office was mine to run. It was heaven. I was pretty much all alone. The house was clean, I cooked every night, it was wonderful.
I watched Juno, and 10,000 BC and they were both amazing. I made a new friend, Michael, via Shawna and her internet romance site, and caught up with an old one. I yelled at a business associate and gained a new client. I drank myself silly and got down to business. I painted and cleaned and painted some more. I salvaged two chairs, I found some maggots, no kidding. It’s been a good couple of weeks for El Ray.
But now they’re back and it’s back to cramped old living. But here’s to vacations, and here’s to people you love, no matter how they get on your nerves. ♥
Here’s what I want to know…
Hillary Clinton was on the Wal-Mart board of directors for several years. Wal Mart has a reputation for screwing its employees out of healthcare because the company is too greedy.
If Ms. Clinton REALLY cared about all of those working class families like she insisted to Bill O’Reilly that she does…should she maybe have started there, by fixing the healthcare conundrum of 1 of every 200 Americans (1.5. million people are employed by Wal Mart)? That’s what I want to know. If you care so much, why didn’t you try to fix it as a private citizen?

Tonight I’m at Wal Mart, buying a lavender plant.
I hear a kid say the “f” word to another kid, they’re both about 12.
I snap my fingers and bark “HEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY”
That’s how you know when you’re old, ladies and gents. 23 today, 83 before I know it.
